I think a contest for best roleplay scenario would be a great fun one to do, include NPC's and reasoning and logic for actions. It would be nice to leave loose ended so maybe they could even be played out on the MUD! Maybe the prize could be the best one is run with the writer as the central character in the RP or the writer gets to have the armies of darkness/good do his bidding during the course of the roleplay! hehe, that could be interesting, "Butcher of hell! I demand you chop Gydin into little pieces and serve him for dinner... and I like my meat extra rare!"

*yawn*

This also wouldn't work for two reasons:

1. As far as I'm concerned, ANY effort at roleplay is good. I do not want to discourage anyone from trying and learning and doing better.

2. If we were to send someone to serve Gydins head on a platter to the Butcher it would turn into 'The "Big Meanie Staff Person" made me do it!" and we'd have the whole Staff vs Player atmosphere happening that we're trying to avoid.
