... Mirella and Lucia (aka Psyrana). I met Mirella
online playing CS (counter-strike, for those that
have been living under a rock ). She introduced
me to mushclient and DL. I remember I had a little
magey at the time. Them two helped me with like
everything a newbie could ask for. I even had a
bag of holding. As I was roaming around exploring
something killed me and looted everything.
I had no clue what it was or where I was... so
they looked but couldn't find anything. Not long
after Mirella stopped playing I did too. I think
I had around level 20 mage which took like 4 months
to get, lol. Then I stopped playing altogether for a
year or so only to come back and see Psyranas
goodbye message on the board.

This is one of those awkward things.

When Lucia first started, I had been playing for about a year, though I hadn't really done much with the time I'd spent here. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I died to often, and more than not, lost everything without any clue as to where I had been.

Anyways, she was just as lost as I had been, though maybe not quite so bad off, since I believe this wasn't her first mud. I helped her with gear, and I think Esper took her under his wing as well. Between the two of us, however, we made a mudder out of her!

I remember distinctly how she introduced me to Gmud, and how much I really loved the idea. Color on Distant Lands? Hell yeah!

Anyways, I don't remember what exactly happened over the years, but I remember there being a plot to have me killed, so, we had a bit of a falling out. I don't think we really ever trusted each other again, which is kind of a shame.

Gosh, it's been a long time with alot of you guys, but as a personal favorite I too miss Lucia.

When the change hit the fan and we we're all
hurled back at a whopping 1, I believe that was
ony of my many haitus seasons.

I just got a small pargraph to say, guys without
Lucia you wouldn't of had a Gomuae ninja. That
miraculous PC took the me on for weeks to help
me fashion that splendorous age of my DL life.
Such a shame some people fade to only glory,

hmm, i remember her. funny, i havn't been to this site in over a year (even longer since i actually played). i too knew mirella. i was the leader of a cs clan she was a member of. we also speant a few nights role-playing on dl2. quite the character she was. it would be nice to hear from her again. she definatly leaves her mark wherever she goes.

Ok so for those that dont know, I am also "Baalic" and if you knew Lucia/Psyrana, you knew me as well. We were long time friends, and probably closer with each other at then anyone else on DL. We were very good friends outside DL, and we both were staff members of 3 or 4 differant muds so we were quite acustomed to the others quirks. We also played Diablo 2 together, and Never Winter Nights, and Half-Life and Counter Strike. Needless to say, we were close lol. Anyways for those of you who were wondering, the last I had heard on our good friend Kate, was that she moved back home to California and married her old highschool sweetheart kind of guy. Last I knew they were happy and she is currently not making any plans on returning to the Distant Lands as we know it.
