Our discussion we had, and hopefully is fixed a little, not much I can say of myself to Nintrin. Long long healing process.

Apparently this game is based all on the staff now. **** players. We should just get rid of all players and just make the game all staff. They multiplay, kill players, hold on to equipment and just totally cheat, but Nezmar don't care anymore. This is what the game has become. I thought staff was supposed to help players?not drive them away. But that's what distant lands has become. What a game!

Staff killing players.. what's new? That happened 15+ years ago, and it happens today. Something to cry and quit over? No. Of course not..

What you two are doing is the same Gydin did.. it's not a secret. You're trying to upset the maker and have him close the game down. Why?

1. Someone doesn't like the fact that the maker (Nezmar) decided to lower some hps on steeds and nerf stun. Guess what? It's his game, his rules. How about being the bigger man and find a way to continue to play, with the lowering. I did it back in the early 2000's when Nez did it to stab power.

2. Someone talks about a staff member behind his back and gets a tongue lashing for it. What's new? Suck it up and move on. I've seen and heard much worse.


Also, to tap on the "Admin killing players". That will happen all the time, when you (Efori) only logs on to attack aggro dragons (mage) and then goes to afk players waiting for the dragon to portal and attack that afk player. If this is the only thing you're going to do, then do us all a favor and go away.

We are constantly helping people and greeting new players all the time. You're not hear to see that because you're upset about changes that were made.

I don't see at all how Nintrin saying, '**** you', calling me a punk *** kid and getting personal over something minor, calling us players 'sniveling little assholes.' And telling me he no longer is going to quest me, is anywhere close to the same thing as Gydin using items to crash he game. Pretty sure not even in the same ballpark.

I also don't believe anywhere in either post steed or stun nerfs were brought up or mentioned as it isn't the problem or the point that's trying to get across. obviously we are okay and have been playing with it. No problem.

Talking behind his back? I guess if privately talking to another player/admin using the "Tell" system because you are taking out frustration in a better manor than the dude spying on your screen, then arrest me. Because I could of honestly blown up to but over what, exactly nothing. And I'd definitely not go as far or stoop so low as to get personal in the situation.

The staff killing, is one of Nezmars biggest hates and a reason as to why he didn't have staff in game, for a while.

New players? All the time? You mean the two, Alqr and Zelphina? Helped, by boosting them in level when they still don't grasp the mechanics that you should be teaching them. Yeah doing wonderful here in the lands.

Nas, I understand what you're saying, but haven't you been in a similar situation recently?
Just a few months ago when I started playing again, I distinctly remember that you and Nintrin were butting heads and you were on the verge of quitting over it. I don't remember the specifics, but it had something to do with some items you had and Nintrin accusing of you cheating to acquire those items? Something like that, ya?
That, and this sounds like a little more than a tongue lashing to me. If Nintrin is saying he won't quest Covetous going forward... what exactly is he supposed to do? Just play the game without ever progressing?

This sounds like a similar situation to me. Nintrin is thinking that Covetous is cheating somehow to gain levels quickly? I group and level with Covetous on a daily basis and I have not once witnessed or heard of any cheating on his part.

Or maybe I'm just a little confused as to what's going on. Either way, this is something that can (and should be) solved by having a level-headed discussion. I hope it gets resolved, the player base is too small to lose longtime players over something like this.

There were two people in this discussion when I posted. Two... so my entire post isn't directed towards you. Therefor, I will start pointing out when i'm talking to you. <---That was for you.

The steeds, nerfing, and admin killing was all directed towards Efori, who chose to chime in. Those are the issues he claims is "driving players away". He didn't mention all of this in his post, but he mentions it every time he logs on. <---Directed towards you also.

Cove, you can defend Efori all you want. What he's doing (having NPC's kill/attack non-rp afk players) is wrong and for him to think someone won't intervene and do something about it, he's wrong. <---Again, towards you.

I agree with you on the "handling it through tells" part. I would have just went directly to him and handled it, instead of talking to other people. That's me though..

Who cares if it's one, two, ten, or twenty. New is new.. Alqr being "boosted", he's been here for awhile. Alqr is... .... Alqr. Level 1 or Level 1000. I can say though, what Nin has been doing (not the arguement with you) has kept people playing. <---Directed towards anyone.

As far as Nin and I go, we handled it after a heated discussion (we all get ****, it happens). We both went back and forth. I had a few things directed towards me, the same way Cove did. Guess what? I stood my ground, explained everything and POOF! Everything was settled. I didn't sit quietly and then run off.

Oh.. and I think the "cheating on levels" was towards one of his alt's who was level 68 (guess) and only had 186 kills total.

Please correct me if i'm wrong..

I don't defend Efori in him attacking afk players with aggro mobs, that isn't right and I don't condone that. As I don't condone staff killing players.

As for sitting quietly, that's how I have to deal with Nintrin because any other time I try to speak to him it is, how I don't know **** and should shut up. And I didn't run, I had to go to bed as I had an interview.

For the levels and kills, I have killed a total of 186 MOBS, that doesn't account for the 70 times each one of those mobs was killed, bringing about a total of, 13,200 so kills, with Lesixs for the first 35 levels, at 100% bonus experience.

I don't fly off the handle because as with me sitting there quitely, it gets me no where anyhow.

Ahhh, makes sense. Well just stating what I heard (186 kills, level 68, etc.).

As far as the killing afk players, what would be your solution? Talking to her? Done that. Asking her to stop? Done that. At least she walked away with every piece of her gear. Anyway, enough of her.

I have no idea if Nin checks the forums or not. I know Nezmar is extremely busy and doesn't have time to delegate (Talked to him last week). So i'm not sure where you're trying to go with all of this. If you want this handled and fixed between you two, I guess this is a start (if Nin checks the forum). If you want some sort of disciplinary action, again, Nez is extremely busy.. no idea if he'll intervene.

Attacking afk players? Nas all i do is attack you. and your far from afk since you automatically log on to your staff and try to kill me. Instead of dealing with it on your player, you settle all your problems with your staff. Is this a players game anymore? or is it all about staff these days?

Please stop boosting people to avatar. Giving someone lvl 100, is free walk in room XP to lvl 150... And that takes a normal person 6-9months+ and a TON of time playing.

Ahhh, I think I've ready the forums more than anyone. Still do. Still log in daily, try to be as generous as I've always been. But I'm getting to a point where I'm just in a funk about a game. So I remind myself it's a game. Just like I remind myself I need to complete a lot of the things I've started. Just like I keep reminding myself that I'm just a player. . .

So it's befitting I read this, these dialogues of trash talk. The years of being the lesser inferior idiot. Because honestly, I think it's time to say goodbye for a bit. I'll probably finish the things I've started because that's what one professor told me what duty meant. I think about all the time I've logged into the game always under the auspicious ideal that I'm going to one day do some good by it. . .

I really didn't need to reread to desist what I did once as an attempt to retain returning players. I don't really want to hear about someone telling me what took them six months. . . Let me know when you have an entire inventory of players steadily approaching the ready for advancement part of the game. . . Yeah I started summer hoping that while in the absence of my daughter being here I'd level up a few PC's and take a crack at some building again. I hardly finish building projects because it's like painting, you always get
distracted in the little nuances that you've made wanting to embellish it a little more. Then there's time you want to sit and have a good long break just doing nothing. Which is exactly where I'm at now. I want a good long break doing nothing.

I'm tired of hoping I'll get to be the equivalent of some of the larger players. I've managed to have a plethora of PC's at a ripe young avatar stage, but I've never tried to take one upwards beyond a lord for some time. Even when I attempt it I'm on a waiting list of things to do before I can muster up the strength to match others.

This was suppose to be a game folks. Not a contest. But I don't feel like I'm enjoying the game as much as I should be. I just spent the better part of my day off trying to get myself advanced through work. . . I think I need to be enjoying myself somehow.
And working myself isn't the answer.

So in a nutshell, take good care of yourselves. I'm glad throughout the years people have acquired so many hurtful things to attribute me to. It just ensures I'll finish those building endeavors on my own terms. But in all honesty.
I probably won't log into playing again.

It's been a privilege to have some of you as friends. You're all wonderful people and all, it's just a simple matter of
when I stop actually getting to participate in the things I want to be involved in, I find it's important to move on and find
clarity elsewhere. Mainly my garden probably.

I hope a plethora of you return and find this place fun and exciting. It's growing by leaps and bounds.
