Well I had a long shpiel on my cell phone that I tried to post but it produced an error so I got onto my friends computer to leave my thoughts. I can't begin to count how many times I have heard, "Are you winning," or "Have you beaten that game yet?," and I have always responded that there was no end. I didn't think about an end to tell you the truth, because I had never wanted one.
Firstly, I would like to thank you Nezmar and Amaessara. For the better part of my life I have made Distant Lands my home away from home. It was the perfect getaway to a rather inane life. Countless hours were spent sharing it with other people, be it talking to staff, grouping with friends, testing new things, building new things, having emote sessions, or anything along those terms. This game has changed me for the better.
Secondly, I would like to say that I feel like the world should have known about this amazing game, and the world should have played it. It was so genuine, and so unique. Things were produced that I couldn't imagine through coding! Ideally I would have loved to have introduced my children to this game, assuming I ever have children.
Lastly, I would like to apoligize for not contributing as much as I could have. For the past year and a half I have been without a computer/internet, and bluntly just struggling to keep my bearings. Just recently, with a bit of determination, I found out how to tether my cell phone to be able to play DL. I wish I had a computer so that I could have put forth some effort into keeping this game fresh and challenging.
If I never get to play with any of you again, I would like to say that I had the best times here at my second home Distant Lands. You will all be thoroughly missed. Please, keep in touch via facebook (
ademaguy@hotmail.com), or even via text 413-977-2940, it would be sad to lose you all as friends.
