Am I the ONLY person that thinks Multi Purpose Points are more or less junk?

I've got 63 of them stashed up, at least another 20 on other characters, and I can't think of a damn thing to do with them.
I love the new auto redeem system... but it seems like there's nothing worth redeeming with them.

Maybe I'm alone in this, maybe i'm not, I'm posting to find out :)

Oh, and I'm not posting to try to bash the MPP system, I'm posting to perhaps flush out some ideas of new ways that MPPs can be used!

Some Ideas:
Adding properties to already existing items to make them a little more unique (perhaps only doable once per character so it remains unique)

Being able to redeem them to *unlock* new tasks with better rewards (some coding on that part but a cool idea i think)

Being able to change other stats with MPPs (height, sex, age, weight, class, name)

temporarily increasing the load rate of one mob of choice for a day

making a specific mob of choice repop continuously for a day

being able to have a double barrier for an hour (BB + sanc mmm loc nar)

double HP for a day

just some fun ideas i thought i'd throw out there, didn't really think about long term affects just using some imagination :)

why not build your nat stats? dex,str,int,etc.

Hrm...in order to get MPP is not easy...I like Arioka's idea of increasing the usage of MPP. But at the moment, still quite a lot players are really lack of MPP to build up nat Status. As i know there are good amount of players having MPP less than 1 nat status point. :squint:

I think a lot old players doesnt have perfect nat Status and the charactor had already on a certain level that could not be started again from scratch.

We really need consider the good usage of MPP in case have perfect balance of the game. Let's build up some ideas here..... :D

How about offering something to people who don't play day and night and who can't afford/save an insanly high amount of MPPs? I think it would be great if people could buy simple +stat or improved stat for their items, that would cost a bit less in mpps than permanently adding it to your character like you can at the moment. Make it like an enchant, say one +imp per item or two +normal stat at a time. I think being able to customise items like that would benefit the game.

another thing that i think would be cool:

we can buy MPPs with gold and with practice points

Why not be able to purchase MPPs with natural stat points as well?
it can cost 40 MPPs to purchase a stat point... why not be able to give one natural stat point up for say 30MPPs or something like that?

or possibly be able to give up a stat point in one stat and gain one in another and charge like 10MPPs for the switch?
cause the way it is... well i considered raising my strength to 23 from 14... it's gonna cost over 250MPPs, i'll never do it, that's ridiculous, but say i gave up 9 other stat points from other attributes and paid 90MPPs? That I might do.

pay a bit extra mpp to switch attribute....
