I would like to make some suggestions that come to mind in the first hour of testing it, please feel free to add to this:

1. is it possible to change the font and size of the stats on the notebook?
i would like to be able to see my total hp first before seeing the percentage, and I would like the total hp font larger to see it easier.
2. i would also like to see my position to the stats window.
3. the ability to change the order of the things in the stats window.

More to come as I think of them.

Thanks and good work!

just thought of something
4. is it possible to add a notepad to write notes to client?

I see five things that the DL client could use right off the bat
There were actually like a dozen... but all i had to do was play with it for a little while and almost all of those things i wanted were actually already implemented :) Kudos on the client, it's a work of brilliance

umm but ya, lemme get on with suggestions, i'll keep it succinct:

1. Save settings feature upon start up
2. allow input window font settings to change colour (its locked yellow right now, i like it black)
3. Make the amount of gold/gold in bank more clear in the notebook, its really hard to read the way it is now
4. Having "Next Level: -6149146" in the notebook instead of typing "attributes" to see it everytime
5. Having the foe info from the notebook as a seperate window, it definitely needs more space, would love to attach it to the upper part of my screen and make it horizontal while the rest of the notebook is vertical on the side

For a beta, I'm impressed. Granted, I spent more time downloading it than using it, but I will give it some more attention when I get a chance :)

Great work guys.

Just thought of some more.

Is it possible to add macros to the F keys and TAB auto completion?

I think party information, especially Leader HP percentage like in the command prompt in the Notebook panel would be cool

Thanks for the great job.

just suggestion/question

when i run the Beta client for DL from the homepage...it hits my processor at about 30% usage...any other program running starts to slow down quite heavily...
anyone else experience this? or is my computer just that out of date?

it appears to use Ruby for it's code or whatever...Ive never heard too many complaints about that though...my Gmud runs fine...

other than that...excellent program..i love the heal mana etc icons...
also...would be nice if my settings could be saved...

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I have a list a mile long of stuff I want to do with the client. For now, I've been working on the basics. I've completely rewritten the way it starts up (which should appear invisible to you) so that we now have a Linux version as well.

Here are some links to the different versions:

Windows - DL2-Client.exe
Linux - DL2-Client.exe

Builder versions (makes for much easier editing):

Windows - DL2-Build.exe
Linux - DL2-Build.exe

Please note previous versions will NOT work, you'll need to re-download it.

Best regards,
