I'm a drow with innate light sensitivity and my problem is I can't get my dex past 24. No matter how many +imp dex items, or with one setting it, I can't get it higher than 24.

It is because with a race that has light sensitivity it means that you can't have your maximum allotted dexterity when the sun is out or the room has a light source. You must be in a room that has no light in it whatsoever to not have it affect you.

I don't think a race with light-sensitivity can get it past 24, not drow. Even when I'm in dark or inside I have a penalty, actually I can't get my dex beyond 23 in either setting. I've also been noticing for a while and thinking, that even though drow get a +2 bonus to dex we're almost always imposed a -2 penalty and that even in the dark drow are only "normal". In my mind anyways, drow are not very dextrous.
