So I'm sitting at the fountain, and a mage whose name is on the tip of my tongue but i just can't remember since they havn't played much in a while recalls to the fountain!

Covered in wounds, near dead, the mage reports and has only 1 HP left And starts to brag that they just BARELY survived, and recalled while the mimic in Isle Guard was killing them. One HP left, best escape of death ever... POOF The person convulses and falls over dead. I totally thought it was a staff joke haha, they got poisoned, and laughed at themselves later after I revived and full healed them. I thought it was funny!

Who was the magey? My first guess would be zika.
That reminds me of something similar that happeed
to me long ago. I ran into a large mob, something
like queen of vampires, Zomyn I believe. She hit
me down to -8hp and just stopped.
Slowly I regened hp back to 1 where I was spamming
recall but i was asleep. Woke up and managed to
get out alive on 1 hp. Luck or what? I don't know.

Yes, it was Dessimus, how do I know? Because I was with him, we were hunting the mimic together and it jumped him first when we went in for me to tank it. Ah. Good fun that day. I don't think I've laughed so hard for a good while.

Another fun day was Kamaria died to Thanatos. Lysa and I were going to go finish him off and resurrect Kamaria. While standing above Thanatos and switching into fighting gear, sancing up, etc... we hear the death yell. Run down in and low and behold, Kamaria's poison finishied him off when it hit. That was a big sigh of relief.

I think it was much fun on a day that a fireshielded mob got lucky and hit a minor teleport to the fountain of Turien. I think there was a time between my being in a location where the mob can teleport and it casts, to my recalling, and the game having to pop the mob somewhere, so it hit the ftn since that was my last location during the teleport. So, Piirz was afk at the ftn, unwielded I believe. The dragon attacked her, killed her, then turned on Lyshia. Not a good way to make friends with anyone. Burned eq left and right, damaged eq. I was not a friend of many that month. Another time that dragon has hit the ftn before, but this time I got a dispel off so he atleast wasn't fireshielded. Yog was there that time I believe, afk, but wielding and he killed it.

I believe your savior was Odamius and not thats not a way to make friends. General reminder to anyone playing with the unknown, becareful and don't risk anyone else.

You know, I have been noticing that I die for pretty stupid reasons

Lets see, though not funny in total, amusing to say the least. Here's a few recent deaths.

I was following Vladikus and decided to turn the low hp zombie I had following me. Vlad walked into a room with an obviously turnable mob. It attacked me during my turn lag which is like 6 prompts. Another mob walked in and agro'd me. Vladikus rescued me from the new agro mob while I was still fighting this turnable mob. With the turn lag and the rescue lag, I didn't even have a chance to recall. Dead.

Next death was something stupid too, like a dispel good spell that did 600 hp of damage. No con loss from either death by the grace of God.

Now Vladikus on the other hand is at 1 con now, all for stupid deaths where we're just going around enjoying the game and something lame happens. He got hit with a 500 hp dispel good from Krath the other day. He died from lag by using a minor portal item to go pee on Mephistael. During the lag between using the item, Meph killed him. No no, don't worry. I got there and ended up killing Meph and got all his items back. After that he died to the glare lord by getting hit with a 300hp or so shriek. Who in the heck does a 300 shriek? Mine isn't that high unless I'm in an arena, even then.

So funny and not funny. It's kind of like "Wow, what are the chances of that happening?"

I wouldn't call it lame, you could say it's unexpected.
That's what makes it fun. If a game was that predictable
no one would play it. Very funny death with mephi, lol. What
did you think that he'd just stand there wave hello?
About con loss, like I said to you earlier.. if you play with
fire, you're bound to get burned.

I agree, not lame, just unexpected. Call me crispy cause I play with fire. I died today, got agro'd and assisted by 3 blade barrier guards, woohoo. Now to get my corpse back....
