I'm looking at the bottom of the main page of the forums. Weird, hehe

That number refers to the web forum, not the game itself.

And that number is still an odd amount. Only thing I can think of is that it takes in to count the spiders the search engines send out.

Ah, ok, yes... I see now... I thought you were talking about the game. This is clearly not accurate, I don't know where that number comes from... it is most likely as Myrrima suspects, a combination of spiders, bots and users.
