Ok to start with this is in no way a moan just something i want to bring to attention.

From my experince Leveling at higher levels by your self as a Fighter class is close to being impossible i mean I do have quite high Stops and hitting power but the mobs you need to kill to get exp and for it to also be worth it are just to big, Solo you may be able to kill one or two and get a little bit of exp but then you regen for a long time to even get that, and yes i know at high levels it is supposed to be hard but When you look at some spell class's i know One Cleric that can get 2 million Exp a run compaared to my maybe 200-300k if that and when you need near 18mil a level that is nothing. Without a sanc and maybe even dispel its hard. And yes a response may be Group more and yes i do love grouping but then again if a cleric can get 2 mil alone why would they want to group to level and get less exp? and what if your on at a time that a cleric isn't? dont get me Wrong Cleric's like Lyshia and Nusa are always willing to group and are very helpful. And as for grouping in a group it seems the exp is very low and some people also do not group to level because of this, To be honest i got to 199 because Nusa gave up his time since he was quest ready and just ran behind me not grouped sancing and full healing me and with that it was possible for me to level at a steady pace. Just to sum up i do not think it should be that certain class's can level effectivley at high levels and others can not. In saying this i would never give up and i love a challenge and i will keep on trying and hopeing. But maybe others down the track may not be as resillent as me or be lucky enough to have a very good friend in a cleric that will help them level, and they may just become inactive and hardly play and that is the last thing we want. Also even Assassins they have to stab flee to get exp and lose alot of experince when they do flee so they may be at even a bigger disadvantage. I also would like to thank staff for all the work they do for the game it is the only game i will ever play. i just really felt i should voice my opinion.

Hehe, try being a high level barbarian with no healing spells whatsoever and a long regen time since you need to sleep. Now that's a challenge! :P

I've learned to cope with it as any other melee class has and spent all my time in the avatar levels grouping with a cleric because that seems to be the only efficient way for me to get experience for my time. I believe the true problem in the situation is the fact that at 100+ there aren't as many places you can effectively go to just do nothing but kill mobs and gather up that precious expererience. So in essence, it comes down to the builders to see this situation and possibly attempt to remedy it in making a few more areas that are just for leveling purposes and not to slaughter large mobs for high end equipment. That's just what I believe at least.

I agree with most of what you have posted.

One of the ideas I thought we might be able to use to help this situation is to add tasks that are worth significant experience. Some of these tasks might even be repeatable. With macros we should be able to make them intricate, interactive and difficult while not impossible.

We also probably need to adjust the experience value of higher level NPCs.

It may take a bit, but I think changes will be on the way before it gets too too bad -- we'll try and we'll see.

The DL Player Appreciation Month should help quite a bit too, in the short term, I'm thinking.

Best regards,

I SERIOUSLY miss leveling :(:( is a quest in the near by horizon? I kinda have enough classes that i don't feel like starting a new one just to level :) but that's usually what happens :P i'd really love to level the ones i already have though!
