Well Ill first say this is my opinion and only mine and not that it matters but seeing as I spend so much time on dl , I believe I'm entitled to an opinion if nothing else. Alot has been said since this last purge about reason for not having characters level to quickly and how things will be unbalanced. Well I guess I don't see the for purpose of that reasoning first people who cant use eq for 75 lvls are still loading it so having them wait to use eq is not a deterrent from them loading it. Second when the purge happened I personally spent the better part of 3 weeks or so leveling to 99 and negs so as to be able to quest or what have you. But not shortly after that people got instant heroes so my 3 weeks was but a waste of time. How the game stays balanced when levels are handed out like that I wont understand but its not my right to have to understand that decision is above my pay grade but to penalize those that do level themselves and quickly by withholding avatar levels in the name of balance seems a bit odd. I know Ill probably feel repercussions for having the opinion I have but it is what it is. I enjoy dl immensely and have basically since the game came up many many years ago and I have also went through its many changes some good some not so good. But one thing is for sure I haven't ever seen holding people to a certain level in the name of balancing work other then to the chagrin of players. I "like" and have even been friends with most of the staff and whatever they do it is there decision and I as a player wont have any actually input BUT some kind of over all stability would be nice and I hope that once that is established to start playing "Soren" again.

Not that you spend jack **** in time to develop anythything about your character. Not like anyone has spent anytime to develop their character?

I guess if you had a valid opinion I might of cared, but honestly having spent more time in the other part of the game verus playing and not being rewarded for it; Up yours?

Instead IT has been catored to you HACK/SLASH people that claim "I love rp". So that in by chance the game might potentially grow which brings me to my final and most important part of this discussion.

Simply put levels were handed out on my purpose. I'm sure none of you "levelers" have liked it. Yet, in a world where people log in with complaints such as "I don't have the time to catch up" or "I've already done this before, this is so lame" I'm sorry that I'm the smart one with a generosity side. If any of you haven't noticed; by handing out levels and making people happy to be a part of the place they showed up. Instead it was the 5-6 of you who Originally keep hounding it out. You want to know the main difference from a damn descent gamer from one that just is in it for themselves. Those of you past LORD, are most often the most greedy selfish bunch of brats I've ever had to babysit. In fact if you took more time actually trying to develop the game (Staff interactino would be at minimal)

Economically it is called in a recession you try to boost things back towards the equilibrium in which things work. So since Im' the only person whom has put two cents into trying to increase any part of the games simulations other that increasing your own outlook. . .

I've been here long enough to have honestly come to enjoy the game just to myself. I'm entirely the guy who is happy not having any outlet. The first time I'd try to have a player I'm sure one of you'd honestly complain.
I've already heard enough of the complaints.
So and so is using their staff to allocate things, it's just like the old days.
Yeah, it is just like the god damn old days. Some asshole who volunteered their time logged into the game which they care about. After I'm not sure lets log the days total of Nintrin. Actually, let's not share how much time I've spent
poured into a computer just watching. Because, the biggest part of my job isn't running something, creating anything, or establishing a new set of RP codes. It's watching and understanding the mechanics of the game. I have one soul job as an Administrator of Distant Lands. It's to increase player productivity. I'm so glad that no one has enjoyed the extra amount to try and boost the participative experience.

I'm more enthusiastic about the fact everyone still gripes beyond the means and conditions upon which you signed up for the game.
It's a roleplaying game, please start playing the part.
Because honestly, the gripes and complaints I'm hearing are irrelevant. If you don't like the fact a person was instantly leveled up. Then perhaps you should've of instantly leveled up without takinga step. Because the balancing process works simple. The highest level character is the lowest level character. Until the day you all start playing and storytelling like a group..

FYI I don't show up and run many roleplays because most of the time it's about as much fun as having you march from Turien fountain to Rocksport fountain, and then back again. That's how lame your abilities as ROLEPLAYERS have become. The major fact is no one in this game should currently be over 99. I wouldn't of allowed it, yet out of generosity to see people happy and playing a game I yet again bent the rules..
For what, a bunch of grown *** men acting like 4 year olds with their opinions. Here's my opinion. The game would've be as crippled as it was if any of you had bothered to be as generous as the person who ran it for a bit.

Because then you might actually use the thinks commands.

I'm willing to play tug-a-war all day long. Especially with cry-babies. The more you nibble, the more I'm going to gobble you whole. Who the hell do you think has been watching for an extent of 1.3 years. Some guy that doesn't collectively remember what's going on. Whom I should delete all characters for multi-playing. Since you started this contest, don't be surprised if the reporcussion of this is a massive clean up.
