I've started working on a portal for DL. If it's accepted widely enough, it may become the front page for DL. This will have all of the current library stuff, pictures, artwork and such as well as an easier way to submit each of them. I'm still working out some stuff and putting some polish on it, but a working model can be seen at portal.php

This is based on the phpbb3portal (aka the "canver-portal"). I've edited code and templates to better suit DL. By the time it's all said and done, there will probably be more of my code in there than the original portal code.

Imagine uploading a picture, story or what have you and have a staff member click to approve it. A lot faster (and more reliable) than mailing it in to us. Hopefully this can be the start of the next evolution of the DL website.

Currently to get back to the portal you have to manually enter it in the address bar, but if it becomes a permanent fixture, it will be the index page for DL.
